2nd Week of School

I am taking 6 courses at the moment. Natural Disasters, Business Continuity Planning, Intro to GIS, Disasters Communication, East Asian Culture, and Chinese.

I have never taken so many courses in any year of my university studies. While I was still
doing Biochem, 4 courses would be a killer. I would have 3 hours of lecture + 3 hours of lab + 3 hours working on a lab report per week. 4 courses like these would be 36 hours per week. Its pretty much the same amount of time for me right now, just that its 6 courses worth of credits, instead of 4.

Something different that I've been doing this year. well, at least for the first 2 weeks, is that I've been having a lot less downtime. What do I mean by downtime? It means resting and relaxing time for me. I have been spending a lot less time in bed, and on the computer playing games. I used to play maybe 6 hours of computer games a day. but now, I don't even play games anymore, I watch Youtube, but not for 6 hours, and I watch videos that enhances my knowledge such as how-to videos. I still have my desktop computer lying here unassembled.
I'm actually kind of scared of what will happen once I assemble it and start playing game
s on it. I really want to handle this year well. I can't afford to lose again.

How to stay strong? Influenced by World's top Chef Gordon Ramsay, I have learnt (learned) to think, Never give up. Never give up on yourself. Get a Grip. and more importantly, Bounce Back!
